Dr. George R. Saade is a Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Cell Biology, Maternal Fetal Medicine.  He is the Director of the division of Perinatal Research and Chief of Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine.  Dr. Saade specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.  He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialty by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  His clinical and research interests include Preterm Birth, Preeclampsia, and Stillbirth.

Dr. Saade received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut Medical School in Beirul, Lebanon.  He completed his residency at  the American University of Beirut Medical School in Beirul, Lebanon and at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 1991.  He completed a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.

Dr. Saade is a Texas Super Doctor and has received and is a recipient of the Golden Apple Award in recognition for outstanding efforts in educating medical students among other honors.
