Dr. Steven C. Agle was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist who specializes in tumors of the GI tract, liver and pancreas. His clinical interests include General Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery.

Dr. Agle graduated from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and completed residency training in general surgery at the East Carolina University, Brody SOM, Greenville, NC, and received a Masters of Public Health from the University of Texas at Houston School of Public Health, Houston, Texas. He then completed a two-year research fellowship in Surgical Oncology, and two-year fellowship in surgical oncology and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery.

His clinical interests include general surgery, surgical oncology, and endocrine surgery.
