Angelica S. Robinson, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Radiology with a focus in breast imaging. After completing a surgical internship at the Mayo Clinic and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Robinson was awarded her Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology through the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Robinson then pursued advanced medical training and completed a dedicated one year Mammography fellowship through the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. This Mammography fellowship allowed her to specialize in new and innovative advances in breast imaging including breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and MRI guided biopsies.  In addition, Dr. Robinson works closely with the UTMB Nuclear Medicine department for the interpretation of molecular breast imaging which serves as a critical adjunct to mammography in appropriate cases. Dr. Robinson is a passionate educator who remains committed to providing exceptional medical student education, and her role as the Associate Program Director for the UTMB diagnostic radiology department allows her to significantly contribute to residency curriculum and development.

She serves as Director of the UTMB Breast Imaging Section, and as Director-at-Large for the Gulf Coast Region of the Breast Health Collaborative of Texas. She is also an advisory panel member for Texas Department of Health’s Breast and Cervical Services. Why do some providers have no ratings?
A provider may have no ratings for several reasons. A provider's ratings are only posted when she/he has a minimum of 30 completed surveys within the past twelve months. New-to-UTMB providers or individuals in less common areas of practice may be temporarily under this threshold. Also, the UTMB Health provider directory includes listings for independent community physicians and other health care providers who serve patients in our facilities. Ratings for these individuals, who are part of their own private practices, are not currently available to us.
