Dr. Cheema is an Assistant Professor of the Division of Vascular Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston. He received his MD from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. He has completed fellowships in The Methodist Hospital DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Cheema’s special interests include aortic aneurysm, carotid disease, aorto-iliac disease, peripheral arterial disease, vascular access, hemodialysis, chronic venous disease, varicose veins. He is author or co-author of various publications and abstracts in several medical journals specializing in vascular surgery.
