Suzanne Patton was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Louisiana State University. She went on to complete her physician assistant training at LSU Health in Shreveport. She graduated in 2010 with honors and as the recipient of the clinical excellence award.

After graduation she worked with the Department of Otolaryngology at LSU Shreveport before moving to Chattanooga, Tennessee where she worked for a private practice ENT. She joined the UTMB Department of Otolaryngology in June of 2014.

Suzanne is NCCPA board certified and practices general otolaryngology. She enjoys seeing both pediatric and adult patients with a variety of ENT problems. She is also very interested in PA student education and acts as a preceptor to second year students. Additionally, she is on a national task force focused on creating an educational curriculum for physician assistants who wish to specialize in otolaryngology.
