Dr. Cindy Chan has been with the University of Texas Medical Branch since 2004, including during her Medical School training and Internal Medicine Residency training. After graduation, she served as a Chief Resident until June 2012, where she then became an assistant professor.

Dr. Chan's interests include quality outpatient care education, patient centered medical homes, and care of chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Michael Nguyen is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Raised in Texas City, TX., he has lived in Galveston County for nearly 40 years. Following undergraduate studies at the University of Houston, he attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX., and then completed residency training at UTMB in 2006. He has been a part of our faculty group practice ever since. His clinical responsibilities include hospitalist medicine at Jenny Sealy Hospital. He also has a thriving outpatient practice and serves as the Medical Director of Internal Medicine at Victory Lakes Multi-Specialty Center, in League City, TX. His clinical interests include General Primary Care, Preventative Medicine, control of Hypertension, Diabetes, Hyperlipidemia and prevention of Heart Disease. Importantly, he is very involved with the education and teaching of medical and nurse practitioner students as well as medical residents.

Dr. Reinertson obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed his residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Reinertson has returned to UTMB after working in Cedar Falls, Iowa to continue his interests in inpatient and outpatient care, medical education and medical care in remote and challenging environments.

Dr. Siddiqui earned her medical degree at Texas A & M Health Science Center in Bryan,Texas. She completed her training in the Combined Internal Medicine/General Preventive Medicine Residency Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in 2017. During residency she also earned her Master of Public Health degree.

Her medical interests include prevention & wellness, management of chronic medical conditions including diabetes and hypertension, medical education, quality improvement and public health.

She is double board certified in Internal Medicine and General Preventive Medicine as well as certified in Medical Quality.
