    He has numerous publications and has provided multiple presentations in his career at both a macro level with the CDC and micro level with small workshops and lectures. Dr. Edemekong has a passion for being involved in community education and has dedicated himself to medical missions on an annual basis. Dr. Edemekong offers an ability to serve his patients with a truly integrative approach.

    Dr. Edemekong offers Primary Health Care, HIV Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Occupational Medicine. With a background in Family Medicine and completed training in Preventive Medicine, Dr. Edemekong has experience working with at-risk patient populations. His passion continues in areas of Clinical Preventive Medicine, Global Healthcare, Acute Disease Epidemiology (HIV, TB, Hepatitis, STIs) and Health Disparities as well as Maternal-Fetal Healthcare.

    He offers basic and routine health care needs with a sensitive and unbiased approach for preventive care, physical exams, and Infectious disease treatment. He promotes health equity by striving to eliminate preventable diseases and educating my patients regarding healthy behaviors across all life stages.

  • Dr. Elizabeth Gordon-Moussaoui has been practicing as a General Pediatrician for over 20 years and is most passionate about preventative health care initiatives and health education. She has a special interest in breast feeding support, developmental behavioral medicine and enjoy teaming with parents to support the physical and emotional health of children.

  • Dr. Elizabeth Jaramillo graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, Texas in 2005.  She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas and graduated in 2009. She continued her training at UTMB with a residency in Internal Medicine, graduating in 2012, and a fellowship in Geriatrics, graduating in 2013.

    She had developed an interest in health outcomes research and pursued it while seeing patients once a week. She became a Scholar with the Sealy Center on Aging, completed the Scholars in Education program, and in 2014 she was awarded a KL-2 grant, funded through the UTMB Clinical Science and Translational Award.

    She became an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Translational Sciences and continued her research on overuse of cancer screening in older adults. During this time she worked toward a Masters Degree in Science (Clinical Science) and graduated in August 2015. She continued research at UTMB and started working on Project 1 of the Patient Centered Outcome Research Grant at UTMB. This evaluated older women's thoughts, beliefs, and opinions on screening mammography for breast cancer.

    While she continued to see patients once a week and enjoyed her research she wanted to spend more time with patients in clinic. She started working at the UTMB Community Based Clinic in Angleton, Texas in June 2016.

  • Brittany Menefee was born in the great state of Texas and was raised in Galveston County. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas State University in 2012. Brittany started her nursing career as an Emergency Room RN in Round Rock, Texas. She then moved back to the Houston area, to be closer to family, and began working as an Emergency Room nurse at Ben Taub Hospital. Brittany continued working at Ben Taub throughout her Master's degree program. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in December 2017. Brittany is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
