  • Dr. Grant received his BA at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.  He then obtained his medical degree from Duke University, Durham, NC in 1966.  He trained in internal medicine at New York Hospital-Cornell, New York, NY and in allergy-immunology at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD and Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.  Dr. Grant joined the faculty of UTMB in 1973 and rose to Professor in the departments of medicine and microbiology/immunology.  He served as Program Director for the Allergy-Immunology Fellowship for 46 years.

    Dr. Grant is also active in clinical research and recently has focused on new therapies for patients with angioedema and immunodeficiency.  Frequently he receives referrals from area physicians for patients with complex problems in his specialty, especially asthma, drug-food-insect allergy, hives, edema and anaphylactic reactions. For the past twenty years, he has conducted a weekly telemedicine program for patients in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice that focuses on those with the most severe asthma.

    Dr. Grant is board certified in internal medicine, allergy-immunology and diagnostic immunology, and he has been listed in Best Doctors in America since 1992 and Super Doctors® since 2005.

  • Dr. David Lindsay is an assistant professor in the department of pediatrics who specializes in pediatric allergy and immunology. He received his M.D. from St. George's University and completed residency training in pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Following residency, he completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of South Florida (USF).

    Dr. Lindsay specializes in the diagnosis and treatment in a variety of allergic conditions, including asthma, seasonal allergies, food allergy, and atopic dermatitis. In addition, Dr. Lindsay also has training in the evaluation and management of primary immunodeficiency disorders (PIDDs) and other immunologic disease.

  • Dr. Siddiqui completed her training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she also finished her General Surgery Internship. Before joining UTMB in 2010 as an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology, she was in private practice as a general otolaryngologist in the suburbs of Dallas. Dr. Siddiqui comes to UTMB well-trained, having completed her medical school at the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She also speaks English, Urdu and Hindi fluently, along with basic French and some Thai and Arabic.

    As a general otolaryngologist with special interest in Allergy, Dr. Siddiqui enjoys seeing both pediatric and adult patients with a variety of ear, nose and throat problems, such as allergic rhinitis, nasal obstruction, nasal polyps, sinusitis, ear infections, tonsillitis, snoring, sleep apnea, hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, and neck masses.
