I enjoy practicing all aspects of Family Medicine. I am board certified in Family Medicine, and have been in practice for over 40 years. I recently joined the primary care clinic in Angleton and enjoy it very much. It reminds of the small town I grew up in, in Oklahoma. I especially enjoy the drive over along the Bluewater highway.

My wife and I moved to Galveston in 2003. We love living on the beach and visiting our grandchildren.

My name is Nyajuok Wur. I am originally from South Sudan, born in Ethiopia, raised in Minnesota and currently living in Houston, TX. My passion for medicine began at a young age and my desire to help others continues. I chose family medicine because of the variety as well as the opportunity to work with people from all ages and backgrounds.

Hobbies outside of medicine include reading mystery books, international travel, and singing.

Dr. Isaac J. Koh, MD, MPH, FAAFP is a board certified family medicine physician. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California in 2017 and completed his family medicine residency at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio in 2020 during which he received the Society of Teachers in Family Medicine Resident Teaching Award. He started his career as core faculty for Kettering Health’s family medicine and transitional year residency. Since then, he received the Degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Medicine, coauthored a $1.9M US FDA HRSA Grant dedicated to rural healthcare, was promoted to Program Director to train transitional resident physicians at Soin Medical Center, and appointed Assistant Dean for Loma Linda University medical students at the Ohio-based regional campus. In 2022, he and his wife welcomed their first child and priorities in life changed. In 2023, he and his wife decided to move closer to a large, extended family in the Houston and Galveston area.

As a family physician, I strive to deliver timely, dynamic, compassionate, and evidence-based care to all patients from all walks of life. And I look forward to serving the Friendswood and surrounding area with the experience and capabilities I have gleaned thus far.

The two things that have driven me the most in my career have been problem solving patient’s needs, and teaching - whether it be patients, medical students, resident physicians, peers, or kids on the soccer pitch. When I am not at work, I enjoy watching all sports, digital and analog photography, and exploring and traveling with my wife and son.

Jeena Abraham is a dedicated and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Family Practice and Urgent Care across various Primary Care and Urgent Care settings. Her extensive nursing background, coupled with her commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice, underscores her dedication to providing high-quality, holistic care to her patients.

Her educational journey began with a Diploma in Nursing from Caritas School of Nursing in Kerala, India, in December 2001. She furthered her education by obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington, in December 2011, and her Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, in December 2015. This comprehensive educational foundation has equipped her with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in her role as a Nurse Practitioner.

With over 16 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, primarily in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Ms. Abraham has developed a deep understanding of complex medical conditions and critical care management. This extensive background has prepared her to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals and families across the lifespan.

Outside of her clinical responsibilities, she engages in various scholarly pursuits and maintains a keen interest in cooking, gardening, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. These personal interests not only contribute to her overall well-being but also reflect her holistic approach to life and healthcare.

Dr. James Yao Doe was born and raised in Ghana. He attended University of Science and Technology in Ghana where he completed his medical training. Upon completion, he worked as a general medical practitioner at Koforidua Regional Hospital and then Battor Catholic Hospital (both in Ghana), before relocating to the United States.

He was a resident in the Department of Family Medicine at University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. After completing residency, Dr. Doe initially worked as a locum doctor both in Oklahoma and in Houston, Texas seeing patients in primary care clinics, urgent care clinics and emergency rooms. He was then employed by the Coastal Health and Wellness Clinic (former 4c's Clinic) and then by University of Texas Medical Branch Correctional Managed Care. Dr. Doe recently joined the UTMB Community Based Clinics in March of 2016.

He is actively involved in Texas Association of Family Physicians Galveston Branch. Dr. Doe and his family are active members of the Ghanaian community in Greater Houston.

Providing care for adults of all ages, I enjoy educating my patients about their current health condition and recommending ways to improve it. My main focus is on prevention of chronic illness and disease. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family, reading, and being active.

Benjamin found his passion for healthcare while serving in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Shortly after moving back to Texas, he attended The University of Texas Medical Branch to obtain his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Benjamin went on to earn his Master’s of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas Medical Branch as well.

Benjamin is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society. Benjamin also enjoys spending time as a Clinical Instructor for the School of Nursing at UTMB Galveston, where he is able to share his knowledge and experiences as a healthcare professional with future nurses.

Benjamin enjoys fishing, running, spending time with his wife and two rescue dogs, and staying active in church. He focuses on a holistic approach to patient care with an emphasis on disease prevention.

Amber Khan grew up and lived in three different countries and moved a lot in pursuit of improving quality of life and chasing her aspirations. From getting her bachelor's in North Carolina, going to PA school in Virginia, she fell in love with Texas and moved here.

She continuously enjoys family practice and has been practicing since 2012. She likes getting to know her patients and their loved ones, and building long lasting relationships. She has a lot of exposure to preventative care and emphasizes that to her patients the most.
