  • Dr. Hannah Kline joined UTMB Community Based Clinics as a Board Certified Pediatrician in 2019. Growing up in Kansas City, Kansas, she first moved to Texas to complete her undergraduate degree at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She then went on to medical school at University of Texas, San Antonio and completed her Pediatric residency training at University of Texas, Houston. She now resides in the Clear Lake area with her husband, who is a fellow in the UTMB Division of Gastroenterology, and daughter.

    Dr. Kline is honored to care for your little ones, and especially loves watching them grow and develop into young adults. Her scope of practice includes patients from birth through 18 years of age. In addition to treating common childhood illnesses, she also has experience in caring for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and cooking for family and friends.

She received her Doctorate of Medicine from University Centro-occidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA) in Venezuela and completed a residency with the UTMB Health Family Medicine Residency in September 2017.   • Amy Haverty received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1994. She spent five years as an RN on active duty with the Army. While in the Army, Amy worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Pediatrics Unit, and the Combat Support Hospital. In 1999, Amy joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in Galveston, working as Nursing Manager.
