Ms. John joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2017.

Ms. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing at SNDT Women's University in Churchgate, Mumbai, India. She also earned earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing, from the Prairie View A&M College of Nursing in Houston, Texas.

She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Dr. O'Donohoe grew up in Galveston, TX and graduated from Rice University with a degree in Civil Engineering. She subsequently attended medical school at UTMB and continued on at UTMB for her Pediatric Residency which she completed in 2017.

She specializes in general outpatient pediatrics, mostly seeing patients at the Island Pediatric West clinic location. She also works with patients that have recently been placed in foster care, transitioning them into the UTMB system and getting their specialized needs met.

Dr. Amber Hairfield joined UTMB Pediatrics as faculty in 2011. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Hairfield received her doctorate from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She also completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.

Dr. Hairfield has a special interest in medical education and is currently serving as the Pediatric Residency Program Director at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston.

In addition to serving in various medical education committees, Dr. Hairfield also serves in a few UTMB Quality Improvement committees for academic pediatric clinics

Dr. Wolffarth is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics who enjoys clinical work and is actively involved in medical student education.

Dr. Wolffarth grew up in the Dallas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Chemistry. He attended medical school at UTMB and subsequently completed his residency in pediatrics at UTMB in 2011. He has been board certified in pediatrics since 2011.

Dr. Elizabeth Gordon-Moussaoui has been practicing as a General Pediatrician for over 20 years and is most passionate about preventative health care initiatives and health education. She has a special interest in breast feeding support, developmental behavioral medicine and enjoy teaming with parents to support the physical and emotional health of children.

Dr. Gordon-Moussaoui also enjoys spending time to help physicians in training learn to care for pediatric patients. Her personal hobbies include reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

Howdy, my name is Farha Syed and I am practically Texas born bred and a proud Aggie! I had an amazing medical school journey that allowed me to travel and provide care in rural mountain and island areas. This eventually led me back home to Houston, where I’m glad to be giving back to my community. I served as co-chief at UTMB Family Medicine Residency Program and helped develop and deploy the COVID response team, providing support and leadership during a challenging time in our world. I have grown a special interest in guiding people through the challenges of COVID recovery, while maintaining a focus on the rest of their general health. I love helping my patients reach their healthcare and preventative medicine goals such as losing weight, dietary changes and lifestyle modifications. When I’m not participating in patient care and my passion for medicine, you can find me biking the trails of Bayou and Memorial park, finding new home improvement projects I have to start right away, and helping my husband work on our cars.

I am excited to be back in the Galveston County area! I am originally from Dickinson, Texas, and my family still resides there. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in German Lingual Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from The Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. I completed my rural family medicine training at Waco Family Medicine where I worked at a Federally Qualified Health Center for the medically underserved. I am currently board certified in Family Medicine.

My interests within medicine include taking care of infants through older adults. I also really enjoy preventative medicine and making sure that my patients have a well balanced life physically and spiritually. My interests outside of medicine include singing, cooking, and enjoying time with my family.

Dr. Nicanord joined The UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine in 2017. Dr. Nicanord earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, and a Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. Dr. Nicanord graduated from the UTMB Family Medicine Residency Program and continued his training by earning a fellowship in Geriatrics, also at UTMB.

Leslie obtained her Bachelor of Science from Texas State University in San Marcos in 2009. She went on to obtain her Master in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2013.

Leslie began working with UTMB in 2014 and currently holds a faculty position with the UTMB Pediatric Urgent Care.

Leslie is board ceritifed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed through the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.

Dr. Ralph W. Noble III has been a general pediatrician since 1978. He attended medical school and completed his specialty training in pediatrics at UTMB. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has taught UTMB medical students and pediatric residents throughout his career.

Dr. Noble enjoys practicing general pediatrics. He has an interest in mind/body medicine, including breathing techniques, meditation, and exercises.

In the past, Dr. Noble has served as a clinic medical director, public school medical consultant, teaching a sex education course at one of Galveston's private schools, medical director of the Advocacy Center for Children of Galveston County, a member of the board of various Galveston community agencies. For several years he was an assistant scoutmaster of a Galveston Boy Scout troop.
