  • Dr. Jason Goldberg was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  He went to undergraduate at Tulane University where he majored in Biology and History, graduating cum laude.  After Tulane, he began his career with UTMB.  He completed all of his academic and medical training in the University of Texas education system, including a Master's degree in cellular and molecular biology in 2010.  After completing his Masters, he came back to medical school at UTMB and graduated in 2012.  Dr. Goldberg completed his pediatric residency in 2015, where he served for two years as a representative for his peers on the pediatric resident council.  His medical interests include general pediatrics and behavioral medicine. Dr. Goldberg is the Medical Director of UTMB Health's The Children's Clinic of Clear Lake.

    Dr. Jason Goldberg and his wife are actively raising two young children on the island.  In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, building computers, and gaming.

  • Dr. James Yao Doe was born and raised in Ghana. He attended University of Science and Technology in Ghana where he completed his medical training. Upon completion, he worked as a general medical practitioner at Koforidua Regional Hospital and then Battor Catholic Hospital (both in Ghana), before relocating to the United States.

    He was a resident in the Department of Family Medicine at University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. After completing residency, Dr. Doe initially worked as a locum doctor both in Oklahoma and in Houston, Texas seeing patients in primary care clinics, urgent care clinics and emergency rooms. He was then employed by the Coastal Health and Wellness Clinic (former 4c's Clinic) and then by University of Texas Medical Branch Correctional Managed Care.   • Dr. Jennifer Caffey joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in 2009 after being in private practice for 5 years.  She completed her pediatric residency at UTMB in Galveston where she was Chief Resident.  She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Science, and then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.  She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

  • Dr. Osarhiemen Omwanghe completed her undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley where she also served as a track and field scholar-athlete.   • Dr. Beena Thomas joined The Children's Clinic of Clear Lake in 2006. She attended Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She was accepted into the residency program at UTMB where she trained with Dr. Quillin. In 2000, she started her practice in the Houston Medical Center and at Texas Children's Hospital until she joined Dr. Quillin in 2006.
