  • Dr. Jennifer Caffey joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in 2009 after being in private practice for 5 years.  She completed her pediatric residency at UTMB in Galveston where she was Chief Resident.  She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Science, and then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.  She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Dr. Caffey's practice focuses on caring for children of all ages.  She enjoys preventative medicine including maintenance of childhood immunizations, promoting safe environments for children, encouraging healthy eating and lifestyle habits, and advising families how to help promote normal development of their children's bodies and minds.  Dr. Caffey understands that a child's health is greatly improved with the active involvement of his or her family and encourages this by offering support to the entire family.  Her scope of practice includes patients from birth to 18 years old.  In addition to treating common childhood illnesses, she has experience caring for children with asthma, allergies, eczema, and numerous other illnesses.

  • Jillian was born and raised in the Houston area. She initially received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing in 2010.   • I am excited to be back in the Galveston County area! I am originally from Dickinson, Texas, and my family still resides there. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in German Lingual Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from The Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. I completed my rural family medicine training at Waco Family Medicine where I worked at a Federally Qualified Health Center for the medically underserved. I am currently board certified in Family Medicine.

    My interests within medicine include taking care of infants through older adults. I also really enjoy preventative medicine and making sure that my patients have a well balanced life physically and spiritually.     Dr. Hay has been named the Galveston Daily News Reader's Choice Best Pediatrician of Galveston County in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019. Dr. Hay is currently a member of the Galveston Independent School District Board of Trustees, currently serving in his third three-year term, as well as serving as the President for six of those years. He served on the Texas Youth Commission Advisory Board after being appointed by then Texas Governor Rick Perry.   • Dr. Kimble joined UTMB Health Community Based Clinics in 2015. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics after completing her residency at UT Houston Health Science Center. She has a bachelor's degree from Hampton University.  She was in private practice shortly after residency and co-owned the practice for 10 years. She is a married professional with 4 children; 2 sets of twins identical boys and fraternal girls. Eventually she and her family made a change and moved to San Antonio where she worked as a general pediatrician, urgent care physician and then a hospitalist before moving back to the Houston area.
