Kim Okewunmi, DNP, MSN, WHNP-BC, is a Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She received a Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011. Kim’s clinical interests include low-risk prenatal care, postpartum care, gynecology management for women & adolescents ages 12 and up, well-women exams & preventive care, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause management, and management of cervical dysplasia.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys traveling, gardening, and watching movies.

Dr. Fulcher is Chief of the Section of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTMB Galveston Main Campus. He holds a bachelor's degree from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas, and received his medical degree and residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He is board certified in obstetrics & gynecology. As a result of his interest and experience in contraception management, he has served on the Family Planning Advisory Committee for the State of Texas Board of Health, and as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Health Family Planning Services. He has provided the latest in contraception options to his patients. He has provided expert care in general obstetrics and gynecologic surgery for over 35 years. His special interest is in minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedures.

Dr. Fulcher is married with three children and two grandchildren, and lives in Dickinson.

Dr. Vinod Kaushik is a graduate of Mahatama Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Devi Ahilya University in India. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and his fellowship at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, with a special interest in dementia and disabilities in the elderly.

Dr. Kaushik currently serves as the Medical Director of Gulf Health Care Center in Texas City and the Geriatric Track Program Director at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is Program Director of the UTMB Geriatric Medicine Fellowship. He is an assistant professor of Geriatric Medicine and serves as attending faculty on the ACE Unit, Geriatric Consults, and Geriatric Clinic Service.

Dr. Corzo was born and raised in Barquisimeto- Venezuela. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from University Centro-occidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA) in Venezuela and completed a residency with the UTMB Health Family Medicine Residency in September 2017. During her training, she was exposed to broad clinical pathologies with the opportunity to learn and to have "full hands-on" training. Dr. Corzo found that her best teachers were and still are her patients from whom she learns from every single day. During her free time she enjoys going out and spending time with her family. Dr. Corzo is certified by The American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Stephen Granger, DO is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in biology with a minor in chemistry. Following this, he attended medical school at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS. He completed residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, and was appointed as Chief Resident for the 2020-2021 residency year.

Dr. Granger strives to provide patient-centered healthcare tailored to his patients’ needs. He pursued family medicine because he wanted to care for patients from all walks of life, ranging from birth to late adulthood. He believes that disease prevention is the most important aspect of medicine.

Dr. Granger’s hobbies include exercising, cooking, spending time with family, playing with his dog, and traveling. He is excited to join UTMB and would be happy to see you for all your healthcare needs.

My name is Casey Buck. My clinical areas of special interest are preventative healthcare and Family Medicine. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I am an avid Houston sports fan, dedicated husband, and dog Dad.

Dr. Raquel Mena received her medical degree graduating cum laude from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston.

Dr. Mena's philosophy of practice is to provide parents as much information as possible to promote healthy dietary and safety habits. She welcomes questions from parents.

She is fluent in both Spanish and French. Dr. Mena resides in the Clear Lake area. In her free time, Dr. Mena enjoys reading and traveling.

Dr. Justin Serrette joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in 2014.  Dr. Serrette sees patients at both the Texas City Pediatric Clinic and the Victory Lakes Urgent Care Clinic where he serves as the Medical Director.

Born and raised in South Louisiana, Dr. Serrette attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge prior to completing medical school at UTMB in 2009.  He remained at UTMB in Galveston for his pediatric internship and residency.  Dr. Serrette is board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Serrette enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughters.  You can also find him running along the seawall in Galveston most days.

Born in California, Dr. Abrahim got to Texas as fast as she could and considers herself a native Texan and true Aggie, as she attended Texas A&M University for both her undergraduate degree and medical school. She completed her Family Medicine residency at UTMB Health and is excited to be on the mainland giving back to the community in which she was raised. She aims to help her patients reach their health goals by providing comprehensive, up-to-date, evidence-based care. In her free time she enjoys exercising, watching movies, learning to cook new meals and traveling with my husband and family.

Dr. Rodriguez Lien is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a clinician who cares for patients directly as well as supervising residents. Dr. Rodriguez Lien received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas Pan American. She attended medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch. She subsequently completed her pediatric residency training in 2015 from UTMB and served as chief resident the following year. She is currently the Associate Program Director of the Pediatric Residency Program.

Dr. Rodriguez Lien is actively involved in medical student education as a clinic supervisor of students in the pediatric clinics. She is also directly involved in resident education, not only through her role of associate director, but also as a faculty mentor, rotation director, and head of the board review program.

Dr. Rodriguez Lien has a passion for preventative medicine, specifically the maternal-infant bond and health benefits from breastfeeding. She also has a specific interest in mental health in pediatric care. She heads the primary care behavioral and mental health clinic at the UTMB Pediatrics Bay Colony location.
