  • Dr. Christina Salazar was born and raised in Indiana and completed her undergraduate and medical education at Indiana University. She decided to move to Texas for her residency training at Texas Children's Hospital and fell in love with the state. She joined UTMB after completing her medical training and now resides in Lake Jackson with her family.

    Dr. Salazar is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is passionate about children's health and has special interests in vaccine advocacy and chronic health maintenance. In her time off you can find her outside; she enjoys gardening, biking, running, and boating on the San Bernard.
