Penny Wagner is always very sure I understand why she is giving me the medications I am receiving.Feb 18,2016
Dr. Duarte is an excellent communicator. He took a great deal of time with me, and explained a number of complex issues in a way that was easy to understand. I felt very comfortable with his explanations and recommendations. UTMB is lucky to have Dr. Duarte on their pulmonology team.Oct 21,2015
Good experiences, doctor took care of my problem & I feel better, than a long time.Oct 01,2015
Dr. Duarte is exceptional he took an hour fully explain how he can treat me for heart failure. He checked on my echo- cardio gram, any testing which would give me a clear picture that I need to use a Cpap for shortness of breathe which I have had for about fifteen years, not saying the reason for it was old age.Sep 24,2015
I do not like the "team" approach at UTMB. I spent most of my visit talking with a member of the team and not my doctor. When the Doctor did come in, I had to repeat everything and felt I left things out . Also, the "team Doctor" talked down to me. I assume it was because of my age. I am 74 years old and he talked to me like I was old and senile.Sep 23,2015
