  • Amy Haverty received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1994. She spent five years as an RN on active duty with the Army. While in the Army, Amy worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Pediatrics Unit, and the Combat Support Hospital. In 1999, Amy joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in Galveston, working as Nursing Manager. She joined UTMB Pediatric Associates Alvin in 2007, after earning her Master's of Science in Nursing from UTMB, specializing in pediatrics. Amy currently cares for patients at the Friendswood Pediatric and Adult Care Clinic.

    Amy is board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her special interests include child nutrition and immunizations. Amy volunteers with local scouting organizations, providing medical services and training.

  • Dr. Lauren Raimer-Goodman was born on Galveston Island and grew up as part of the UTMB family. She officially joined UTMB Health in October 2011. After completing her undergraduate work at Wake Forest University, she attended Baylor College of Medicine where she received her medical degree in 2008. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Texas Children's Hospital in 2011.

    Dr. Raimer-Goodman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Texas Medical Association. She has a special interest in pediatric advocacy and global health. Her husband, Dr. Michael Goodman, is a researcher in public health with a focus on social epidemiology and global health. They have two delightful children whom they adore.

    Clinically, Dr. Raimer-Goodman has many interests including infants, breastfeeding, asthma, allergies, acne, eczema and other skin disorders, sports related injuries, healthy eating and much more.

  • Dr. Isaac J. Koh, MD, MPH, FAAFP is a board certified family medicine physician. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California in 2017 and completed his family medicine residency at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio in 2020 during which he received the Society of Teachers in Family Medicine Resident Teaching Award. He started his career as core faculty for Kettering Health’s family medicine and transitional year residency. Since then, he received the Degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Medicine, coauthored a $1.9M US FDA HRSA Grant dedicated to rural healthcare, was promoted to Program Director to train transitional resident physicians at Soin Medical Center, and appointed Assistant Dean for Loma Linda University medical students at the Ohio-based regional campus. In 2022, he and his wife welcomed their first child and priorities in life changed. In 2023, he and his wife decided to move closer to a large, extended family in the Houston and Galveston area.

    As a family physician, I strive to deliver timely, dynamic, compassionate, and evidence-based care to all patients from all walks of life. And I look forward to serving the Friendswood and surrounding area with the experience and capabilities I have gleaned thus far.

    The two things that have driven me the most in my career have been problem solving patient’s needs, and teaching - whether it be patients, medical students, resident physicians, peers, or kids on the soccer pitch. When I am not at work, I enjoy watching all sports, digital and analog photography, and exploring and traveling with my wife and son.

  • Dr. Crystal Sierra joined UTMB Health in November 2010.  After completing her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas - Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, Dr. Sierra earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2006. In 2009, she completed her Residency in Pediatrics at UTMB. Prior to working for UTMB, Dr. Sierra worked as a pediatrician in Clear Lake.

  • I am excited to be back in the Galveston County area! I am originally from Dickinson, Texas, and my family still resides there. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in German Lingual Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from The Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. I completed my rural family medicine training at Waco Family Medicine where I worked at a Federally Qualified Health Center for the medically underserved. I am currently board certified in Family Medicine.

    My interests within medicine include taking care of infants through older adults. I also really enjoy preventative medicine and making sure that my patients have a well balanced life physically and spiritually. My interests outside of medicine include singing, cooking, and enjoying time with my family.

  • Dr. Risinger has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years and is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She grew up in Texas City, Texas and attended Texas City High School. She went to college at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and graduated Cumma Sum Laude with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Risinger graduated with a Medical Degree from UTMB and did residency at UTMB as well. While in residency, she was able to go to Kenya for a mission trip and developed a life-long love of travel and service to others through the practice of medicine. After completing residency, she joined the practice of Drs. Raimer, Judice and Noble in 1986. She also has worked in beautiful East Texas in a practice with underserved patients.

    She has won teaching awards as well as patient care awards and has been listed in Super Doctors®. She was able to work on a 3 year project while at UTMB with the country of Armenia to develop primary care services. She has done other mission trips to the Russia, Nicaragua, Congo and Ukraine.

    In her spare time, she loves to go to Disneyworld with her son and family. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and taking her dog Max on long walks. She was in the church choir and was able to go to Italy with the choir on a mission trip.

    Her goal in life is to honor her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in all that she does. She loves her family and friends and cherishes any time that she can spend with them.

    As the years go by she enjoys the practice of pediatrics more and more each day. She likes general pediatrics but has a special interest in preventative health care, ADHD and behavioral health, infectious disease, special needs children and promoting literacy. Dr. Risinger loves pediatrics and considers it is a privilege and honor to care for your children.
