Dr. Ogamdi believes that patient education through an open way of communication will lead to a vital, long-lasting relationship with her patients. Dr. Ogamdi promotes patient empowerment and security in the understanding of their health, health maintenance and disease prevention, and integrative approaches to patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, learning new languages, traveling, and making bold new recipes.

Dr. Lauren Raimer-Goodman was born on Galveston Island and grew up as part of the UTMB family. She officially joined UTMB Health in October 2011. After completing her undergraduate work at Wake Forest University, she attended Baylor College of Medicine where she received her medical degree in 2008. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Texas Children's Hospital in 2011.

Dr. Raimer-Goodman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Texas Medical Association. She has a special interest in pediatric advocacy and global health. Her husband, Dr. Michael Goodman, is a researcher in public health with a focus on social epidemiology and global health. They have two delightful children whom they adore.

Clinically, Dr. Raimer-Goodman has many interests including infants, breastfeeding, asthma, allergies, acne, eczema and other skin disorders, sports related injuries, healthy eating and much more.

Born in California, Dr. Abrahim got to Texas as fast as she could and considers herself a native Texan and true Aggie, as she attended Texas A&M University for both her undergraduate degree and medical school. She completed her Family Medicine residency at UTMB Health and is excited to be on the mainland giving back to the community in which she was raised. She aims to help her patients reach their health goals by providing comprehensive, up-to-date, evidence-based care. In her free time she enjoys exercising, watching movies, learning to cook new meals and traveling with my husband and family.

Howdy, my name is Farha Syed and I am practically Texas born bred and a proud Aggie! I had an amazing medical school journey that allowed me to travel and provide care in rural mountain and island areas. This eventually led me back home to Houston, where I’m glad to be giving back to my community. I served as co-chief at UTMB Family Medicine Residency Program and helped develop and deploy the COVID response team, providing support and leadership during a challenging time in our world. I have grown a special interest in guiding people through the challenges of COVID recovery, while maintaining a focus on the rest of their general health. I love helping my patients reach their healthcare and preventative medicine goals such as losing weight, dietary changes and lifestyle modifications. When I’m not participating in patient care and my passion for medicine, you can find me biking the trails of Bayou and Memorial park, finding new home improvement projects I have to start right away, and helping my husband work on our cars.

Dr. Ibidapo-Obe joined UTMB Health's Department of Family Medicine in 2019. She is currently an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Ibidapo-Obe earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Lagos College of Medicine in Lagos, Nigeria. She then completed post-graduate training and a residency in family medicine at Howard University Hospital where she also served as Chief Resident. She further completed an obstetrics fellowship and family medicine residency with the Altru Hospital System in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Dr. Ibidapo-Obe is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Emily Smith was born and raised in Beaumont, TX. She received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2010. She then went on to pursue nursing and received her Bachelor's in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2012.

She worked as an emergency room nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital and then for five years worked for Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center as a trauma nurse. While working full time as a trauma nurse, she went back to school for her Master's degree at UTMB. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA with her Master's in Nursing, specializing in family practice. She has worked urgent care for UTMB since 2017 and began working full time at Webster Adult Primary Care in 2018.

Emily is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Katherine Billingsley joined family medicine with special interest in full spectrum care as well as global health and tropical travel medicine. Dr. Billingsley studied global health in medical school and completed a Master's in Public Health followed by a Certificate in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene by the ASTMH. She has traveled to several countries for research and medical mission trips.

She enjoys her primary care practice, focusing on the whole patient as well as the prevention of disease, getting to know the whole family with members of all ages, and working with mothers and their children. She has a personal interest in caring for foster and adoptive families and their children, as she and her husband have fostered children as well.

Dr. Billingsley continues to travel to Kenya with UTMB to work at a rural mission hospital there, teaching students and residents about primary care and global health. She and her husband, Travis, loves to travel, hike, play Frisbee, swim, and connect with friends over a good board game.

Dr. Justin Serrette joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in 2014.  Dr. Serrette sees patients at both the Texas City Pediatric Clinic and the Victory Lakes Urgent Care Clinic where he serves as the Medical Director.

Born and raised in South Louisiana, Dr. Serrette attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge prior to completing medical school at UTMB in 2009.  He remained at UTMB in Galveston for his pediatric internship and residency.  Dr. Serrette is board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Serrette enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughters.  You can also find him running along the seawall in Galveston most days.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of Family Medicine for Dr. Banga are the bonds that she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment in keeping them healthy and well.

Her clinical areas of special interest are Lifestyle and Preventive Medicine as well as Nutrition.

In her free time, she enjoy music, traveling and gardening.

Christine Kley is a board-certified family medicine physician. Areas of clinical interest include preventative medicine, women’s health, and travel medicine. She enjoys teaching and received the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Teaching award in residency training. Outside of clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Houston restaurant scene, and crafting.
