My name is Nyajuok Wur. I am originally from South Sudan, born in Ethiopia, raised in Minnesota and currently living in Houston, TX. My passion for medicine began at a young age and my desire to help others continues. I chose family medicine because of the variety as well as the opportunity to work with people from all ages and backgrounds.

Hobbies outside of medicine include reading mystery books, international travel, and singing.

Dr. Michael Binder received his MD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX and completed his pediatrics internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Binder is Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. His clinical interests include all aspects of pediatrics and seeing his patients develop through the physical, emotional and social health through infancy through adolescence and young adulthood.

Dr. Priscila Emmanuel Martinez was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, TX. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and subsequently completed her residency in Pediatrics at UTMB.

Her major areas of interests consist of urgent care, adolescent medicine and patient advocacy. She is also interested in medical student and resident teaching.

When not working in the office, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She has a passion for singing and is fond of swimming.

Dr. Patricia Ann Rogers is a Professor of Pediatrics at UTMB. She joined UTMB Department of Pediatrics in 2004 and has been faculty at UTMB since 1998. Dr. Rogers is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She received her doctorate from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences (School of Medicine) in Memphis, TN. Dr.Rogers completed her pediatric residency at UTMB in Galveston, TX.

Dr. Rogers has a special interest in teaching medical students and residents. She has received numerous teaching awards including two awards for Excellence in Clinical teaching by the John P. McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine.  In addition to holding the tittle of Distinguished Teaching Professor, member of the University of Texas Academy of Health and Science education, Dr. Rogers serves as the director of the School Health Program at UTMB.

Married for 36 years to Dr. Tommy Sim, an allergy/immunology specialist in Friendswood, TX. Dr. Sim is a proud mother of 3 children; Tom, diagnosed with Autism, graduated from University of Houston in HRM, currently employed at UTMB Health Clear Lake Campus hospital; Timmy, graduated from Baylor University with a BS in Biology, currently schooling in Computer Science at UHCL; and Theresa, graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from UT Austin. I feel empathetic to parents with children with disability. I feel a need to share my family's story about my eldest son with Autism and maybe can inspire somebody like him to strive and succeed.

I am grateful for the opportunities that came my way. I am honored for the trust that parents have given to me to take care of their children's health. I feel rewarded when I see my patients grow up healthy and become good citizens.

Her professional associations include the Texas Pediatric Society, Bay Area Pediatric Society and the Harris County Medical Society.

She believes that good listening leads to good care and appreciates the opinions of parents.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano, reading and traveling with her family.

I am excited to be back in the Galveston County area! I am originally from Dickinson, Texas, and my family still resides there. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in German Lingual Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from The Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. I completed my rural family medicine training at Waco Family Medicine where I worked at a Federally Qualified Health Center for the medically underserved. I am currently board certified in Family Medicine.

My interests within medicine include taking care of infants through older adults. I also really enjoy preventative medicine and making sure that my patients have a well balanced life physically and spiritually. My interests outside of medicine include singing, cooking, and enjoying time with my family.

Dr. Propst is a fellowship trained physician in Primary Care Sports Medicine. His clinical interests include many sports injuries, aches and pains including concussions, sprains, strains, simple fractures. Additionally, his training allows him to investigate nutritional and lifestyle factors that may predispose athletes to repetitive injuries or decrease their performance regardless of their sport.

Jillian was born and raised in the Houston area. She initially received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing in 2010. She graduated in 2017 with her Master's Degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing and Health Science Innovation, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Jillian joined the UTMB Community Based Clinics in Webster in August 2017. She was a Registered Nurse from 2010-2017 before starting her role as a Nurse Practitioner. Her experience as a RN primarily includes a women's health background: gynecology, high-risk pregnancy, antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn infant care.

Jillian is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Jillian enjoys spending time traveling and fishing with her family. She is an avid Texas Longhorn, Houston Texans and Houston Astros fan.

Dr. Jennifer Caffey joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in 2009 after being in private practice for 5 years.  She completed her pediatric residency at UTMB in Galveston where she was Chief Resident.  She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Science, and then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.  She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Caffey's practice focuses on caring for children of all ages.  She enjoys preventative medicine including maintenance of childhood immunizations, promoting safe environments for children, encouraging healthy eating and lifestyle habits, and advising families how to help promote normal development of their children's bodies and minds.  Dr. Caffey understands that a child's health is greatly improved with the active involvement of his or her family and encourages this by offering support to the entire family.  Her scope of practice includes patients from birth to 18 years old.  In addition to treating common childhood illnesses, she has experience caring for children with asthma, allergies, eczema, and numerous other illnesses.
