Dr. D. Claudia Akinsipe DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC is a graduate of University of South Alabama. She has advanced training including being a Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Her clinical interests include Women's Health, Obstetrics and gynecology.

Aisha Olaleye, APRN, CNM, is originally from Nigeria, where she grew up until moving to the US in 2001. Aisha graduated from the University of Cincinnati and obtained her advanced midwifery training. She additionally received certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board. She started her professional career in Nigeria, with an associate degree in Nursing in 1996 and a Midwifery Certificate in 1999. She then obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing in 2013 from the University of Texas-Arlington. These extensive years have enabled versatile specialties, clinical work experiences, and exceptional commitment to women’s health with highly rated employers in Houston.

Aisha’s clinical interests include Women's Health, Obstetrics, and gynecology, emphasizing counseling and health maintenance. Aisha is a passionate provider who provides the best holistic, personalized care.

Furthermore, Aisha has received many awards/honors, such as; “One of the 150 Outstanding Nurses” in Houston by the Houston Chronicle and a bronze winner of the “Good Samaritan Excellence in Nursing” award granted by the Good Samaritan Foundation. Sheila Cole, APRN, FNP-BC is a graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, where she obtained her MSN. Shiela specializes as an experienced board certified nurse practitioner. Her clinical interests include obstetrics.

Emily was born in Franklin, Massachusetts, where she lived until moving to Texas in middle school. Her family relocated to the greater Houston area where she attended Clear Lake High School.

Emily attended the University of Texas at Austin after beginning her education at San Jacinto Community College. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Fall 2014. Following graduation, she accepted a full-time RN position at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC on the Labor & Delivery unit. During her tenure, she worked multiple positions within Women’s Services, including Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, OR, and Obstetric Emergency Department. It was during this time she returned to school at University of Texas at Arlington to pursue her Master degree. In August 2020, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner license.

In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and participating in activities such as running half-marathons, live music, and riding motorcycles with friends. At the end of the day, she appreciates coming home to her family and pets.

Lisa Elliott is a Board Certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health and OBGYN. A graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center, Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and completed a Post-Master of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Lisa is an experienced and trained practitioner in High Risk OB, Well-Woman exams, and problem-focused exams. Her passions hold strongly to providing women with the highest quality of care, as well as patient education on procedures, fertility evaluation and management, and gestational diabetes.

Amanda Miller, APRN, FNP-C, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in pediatric primary care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2008 from Texas A&M University. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2010. While working as a registered nurse Amanda specialized in the care of women and infants in labor and delivery. She went on to earn her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2019.

Amanda has been working in pediatric primary care since 2020 and is excited to continue serving the children and families of the UTMB community. She has a true passion for educating her patients and families on health practices and prevention that benefit the entire body, mind and spirit. She strives to bring a holistic approach to health care. Amanda is a true believer in the strength of the family and home unit in child health promotion. Care for children and families is her passion, and she is committed to providing high-quality health care.

Clinical areas of interest are obstetrics and gynecology. Background, prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health Care, was in the area of Labor and Delivery as both a staff nurse and manager. Therefore, providing prenatal care is especially rewarding.

Personal hobbies and interests include movies, books, spending time with grandchildren, and enjoying country life.
