Rosana Draper, PhD, MSN, FNP-BC is a graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, where she obtained her MSN as well as her PhD. Rosana specializes as an experienced board certified nurse practitioner. Her clinical interests include family medicine, healthy lifestyles and diabetes care.

Dr. Katherine Billingsley joined family medicine with special interest in full spectrum care as well as global health and tropical travel medicine. Dr. Billingsley studied global health in medical school and completed a Master's in Public Health followed by a Certificate in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene by the ASTMH. She has traveled to several countries for research and medical mission trips.

She enjoys her primary care practice, focusing on the whole patient as well as the prevention of disease, getting to know the whole family with members of all ages, and working with mothers and their children. She has a personal interest in caring for foster and adoptive families and their children, as she and her husband have fostered children as well.

Dr. Billingsley continues to travel to Kenya with UTMB to work at a rural mission hospital there, teaching students and residents about primary care and global health. She and her husband, Travis, loves to travel, hike, play Frisbee, swim, and connect with friends over a good board game.

Dr. Campbell comes to UTMB Health from the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, where he most recently served as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Chief Academic Officer, and Associate Professor of Family Medicine. He also served as their Associate Dean for DEI and Director of their Research Group for Underrepresented Minorities in Academic Medicine. Prior to his tenure at East Carolina University, Dr. Campbell served on the faculties at Florida State University College of Medicine and the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Campbell earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. He completed a residency with the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Tallahassee, FL.

Dr. Campbell currently holds the Sealy Hutchings and Lucille Wright Hutchings Chair in Family Medicine.

Ms. Peralta joined the UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine in 2015.

Ms. Peralta earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She graduated with honors from the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.

Ms. Peralta is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing.

My name is Casey Buck. My clinical areas of special interest are preventative healthcare and Family Medicine. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I am an avid Houston sports fan, dedicated husband, and dog Dad.

Clinical Areas of interest in pediatric medicine, adult medicine, geriatric medicine, prevention medicine, health maintenance and special interest in women’s health. I aim to provide personal, comprehensive, and continuing care for the entire family.

I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, reading, traveling and Pilates class.

Ms. Guzman joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2020.

Ms. Guzman earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Community Health from the Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies from UTMB Health in Galveston.

She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board.

Laura Ellender, MSN, RN, CEN, FNP-C is a graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. Laura specializes as an experienced board certified family nurse practitioner as well as a certified emergency nurse. Her clinical interests include all aspects of family medicine.

Dr. Stacy Leung is an outstanding physician holding dual board certifications in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. She successfully completed her residency in Family Medicine at UTMB and pursued a specialized Sports Medicine fellowship at UTHealth in Houston, as well as an MBA with an emphasis in healthcare. Dr. Leung's clinical expertise spans primary care, musculoskeletal health, sports medicine, and international healthcare.

A native of the Clear Lake area, Dr. Leung feels privileged to contribute to the well-being of the community where she was raised. She approaches her patients with a compassionate and respectful bedside manner, investing time to understand her patients' concerns, and ensuring active patient involvement in the treatment plan. Beyond her medical practice, she actively engages in her local church, assuming various leadership roles and serving as the medical missions coordinator. Her commitment to global health is evident through her participation in mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Brazil, Uganda, and Kenya.

Dr. Ikram joined UTMB Health's Department of Family Medicine in 2023. He currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and will serve as faculty on the Family Medicine Inpatient Service as well as see patients at all three of our Family Medicine Clinics - Dickinson, Island East and Island West.

Dr. Ikram earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Medical School in Fort Worth, Texas. and completed his family medicine residency training at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
