Ms. John joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2017.

Ms. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing at SNDT Women's University in Churchgate, Mumbai, India. She also earned earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing, from the Prairie View A&M College of Nursing in Houston, Texas.

She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Taylor Little, FNP-C is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Pediatric Primary Care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. She began her nursing career at Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center working in Orthopedic Trauma for 3 and a half years. She then went on to earn her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2015. She completed her clinical rotations for her Master's degree in the Downtown Houston and Pasadena areas.

Taylor has now been working in pediatric primary care since 2016 and is excited to continue her career at UTMB. She loves working with children and getting to know the families that care for them. She is passionate about educating her patients on healthy practices and prevention of disease in a holistic manner.

She is originally from Houston and currently lives in Clear Lake with her husband. They are currently expecting their first child and could not be more excited. She is a member of Houston Area Nurse Practitioners and Pasadena Running Club. In her free time, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, playing music, spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, learning, and watching movies.

Erika Schulze was born and raised in the Midwest in Illinois 30 minutes outside of St. Louis, MO. She completed her academic training at Goldfarb School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO. Her experience spans 16 years, which included working at Barnes Hospital as staff nurse on general medicine floor for 8 years; Pulmonary and Critical Care research at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. In 2003, Erika was accepted into graduate school at Goldfarb School of Nursing and completed Master of Science degree in Nursing with focus as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. This program was two and half years of additional medical assessment and decision training including diagnostic testing. Since completing Graduate School, she has worked in the primary care setting. She moved to Texas and started working at UTMB in January 2013.

During her time off, she enjoys her home, gardening, and time with her family and friends. She is passionate about animal welfare charities and animal fostering programs. Erika is also very passionate about the mental health of the community. She chairs a weekly support group, Nar Anon, for family and friends of those suffering from addiction.

Dr. Crystal Sierra joined UTMB Health in November 2010.  After completing her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas - Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, Dr. Sierra earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2006. In 2009, she completed her Residency in Pediatrics at UTMB. Prior to working for UTMB, Dr. Sierra worked as a pediatrician in Clear Lake.

Dr. Sierra is board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics. She is also certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She has her Texas medical license, and is a member of The American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Sierra is married to Dr. James T. Sierra, a dentist in Friendswood, and they have two beautiful daughters, Gabriella and Francesca.  Dr. Sierra is fluent in Spanish and also enjoys reading and traveling with her family in her spare time.  She has enjoyed living in the area, and is excited to be giving back to the community!

Dr. Cajigas is a family physician. She received her MD from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and completed her family medicine residency at St. Elizabeth’s Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Cajigas always strives to give her all to patients and make them feel like they are part of her family. She enjoys traveling when she can and watching comedies. She also enjoys a home-cooked meal with her family!

Dr. Yvette Gordon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Division of Gynecology. Dr. Gordon completed her residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Gordon has a passion for women’s health and caring for the underserved. Her clinical interests include abnormal pap smears, abnormal menstrual bleeding, contraception counseling and management, teen health, prevention of teen pregnancy and low and high-risk pregnancy.

In her spare time, Dr. Gordon participates in various volunteer activities.

Dora Pedraza has been a nurse practitioner in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTMB since 2009. Dora was previously a nurse in Labor and Deliver at UTMB Galveston Campus for 9 years.

She obtained her Associates degree in Nursing in 2000. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2006. Later, in 2009, she graduated as a Nurse Practitioner and began practicing with the Women's Healthcare Faculty Group.

She is an active member with ACOG, NPWH and NAMS. Her clinical interest include preventive wellness, diabetic teaching in pregnancy and contraception counseling and management.

Her hobbies include repurposing/refurbishing furniture pieces and décor. She also enjoys crafting.

Dr. Saloni Majmudar joined UTMB Community Based Clinics in 1997. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Majmudar completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She earned her medical degree from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth G.S. Medical College in Bombay, India and received her higher secondary certificate exam in pre-med from D.G. Ruparel College University of Bombay, India.

Dr. Majmudar has a special interest in helping children grow up to be healthy adults, promoting breastfeeding, and treating children who suffer from asthma and allergies. Dr. Majmudar is an active volunteer speaker for a local elementary school where she educates children about health issues. Dr. Majmudar enjoys serving as a preceptor for medical students and residents. She is multilingual and speaks English, Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi.

Dr. Kyralessa B. Ramirez joined the UTMB League City Pediatric and Adult Primary Care clinic in January 2012.  Prior to joining UTMB, she worked for 2 years in South Houston at a pediatric private practice.

Dr. Ramirez received her medical degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo.  She attended the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston where she completed her pediatric residency in 2009.

Dr. Ramirez's clinical interests include the prevention and treatment of common pediatrics illnesses, specifically ear infections. She is interested in the treatment of eczema as well as other common skin disorders, preventive pediatrics and anticipatory guidance.  She enjoys helping new parents with their newborn babies, counseling them about breastfeeding and infant safety. Dr. Ramirez is fluent in English and Spanish.  She is married to Dr. Rafael A. Fonseca, a faculty member in the Department of Neonatology at UTMB, Galveston.  She enjoys taking care of a diverse population of patients.
