Dr. Sagar Kamprath joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2019 as the Integrative and Behavioral Medicine Fellow. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Kamprath earned a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Pittsburgh in Reading, Pennsylvania and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Kamprath is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Kamprath's clinical interests include Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine), mindfulness, Kampo (traditional Japanese medicine), nutrition, and calisthenics. As a medical student, he completed a scholarly project exploring the efficacy of mindfulness meditation as a modality to improve pain perception and blood pressure in older adults with back pain. He has traveled extensively to Japan for global health training (he is fluent in Japanese), and has studied the aging crisis in Japan, as well as medical traditions of Japan (Kampo) and India (Ayurveda). In May 2019, Dr. Kamprath presented his work to the World Organization of Family Doctors' Asia Pacific Conference in Kyoto, Japan.

Rosana Draper, PhD, MSN, FNP-BC is a graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, where she obtained her MSN as well as her PhD. Rosana specializes as an experienced board certified nurse practitioner. Her clinical interests include family medicine, healthy lifestyles and diabetes care.

Dr. Jana received her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Vassar College in New York and attended medical school at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at The University of Hawaii at Manoa. She completed her family medicine residency training at The University of Illinois in Chicago and went on to complete a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at The Albert Einstein Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Jana previously served as Major in the US Air Force and was an attending physician at Pope Air Force Base, Fort Bragg in North Carolina. Following her honorable discharge in 2001 Dr. Jana has had a successful civilian career, and she now joins us from University of Central Florida. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with an additional certification in Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Jana's interests are in preventative medicine, medical student education and geriatrics.

Dr. Zuleica Santiago-Delgado joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2018. She is a family physician at the Family Medicine Clinic - Island East with a focus in women's health and obstetrics. Dr. Santiago-Delgado earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, and a Doctorate of Medicine from Ponce Health Science University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Santiago-Delgado completed her residency training at UTMB Health.

Dr. Santiago-Delgado is a board certified family physician and her academic and clinical interests include women's health, academic medicine, and underserved population medicine.

Dr. Caryl Guillermo received her medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay in the Philippines. She completed her residency in Family Practice at the Wichita Falls Family Practice Residency Program, an affiliate of UT-Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Guillermo is following in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Benjamin Guillermo, who has been a practicing physician in the Clear Lake-area for over 15 years. Dr. Guillermo is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and American Medical Association. Dr. Guillermo's practice philosophy is to help her patients by listening and caring for them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She believes in empowering her patients through active participation in their treatment plan and overall health. She loves taking care of entire families and has a special interest in women's health and well-being.

When Dr. Guillermo is not at work taking care of her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Guillermo is a member of Bay Harbour United Methodist Church in League City. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, bowling, and tennis.

Dr. Ben-Okoli's special interests include prevention, health maintenance, integrative medicine, counseling and adult medicine. He is dedicated to patient empowerment and patient education which are essential to helping patients achieve their medical, mental and social health goals. He is looking forward to developing lifelong relationships with his patients and their families.

Dr. Ikram joined UTMB Health's Department of Family Medicine in 2023. He currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and will serve as faculty on the Family Medicine Inpatient Service as well as see patients at all three of our Family Medicine Clinics - Dickinson, Island East and Island West.

Dr. Ikram earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Medical School in Fort Worth, Texas. and completed his family medicine residency training at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Dr. Ogamdi believes that patient education through an open way of communication will lead to a vital, long-lasting relationship with her patients. Dr. Ogamdi promotes patient empowerment and security in the understanding of their health, health maintenance and disease prevention, and integrative approaches to patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, learning new languages, traveling, and making bold new recipes.

Dr. Namita Bhardwaj is a native Houstonian. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin where she completed her undergraduate coursework in biology and earned her Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Arts. She went on to attend Ross University to complete her medical education and to earn her MD.

Dr. Bhardwaj completed her family medicine residency at UT Health in Houston, TX. She served as chief resident in her final year of training and was recognized as an outstanding PGY 3 resident and awarded the Scholarly Achievement Award. Dr. Bhardwaj then went on to pursue her fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in El Paso. There she served as team physician for several of the local teams including the El Paso Rhinos, University of Texas at El Paso Division I Sports teams, as well as area high schools covering a wide array of sports.

In her role at UTMB, Dr. Bhardwaj serves as the medical director for Galveston ISD. You can always find her and her team of residents and students on the sidelines at Ball High School football games. Dr. Bhardwaj's scholarly interests include opioids and sports related injuries. She has also served as Physician of the Day for the Texas Legislature. Dr. Bhardwaj enjoys attending sporting events, spending time with family and friends, reading and traveling in her spare time.

Dr. Ryaja Johnson joined UTMB in 2023 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Johnson earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Health, Rehabilitation, and Primary Care from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. She completed her internship at Cherokee Health Systems in Knoxville, TN followed by completion of her Clinical Health Psychology Fellowship at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc, MI.

Dr. Johnson has experience working in hospital and primary care settings, as well as, community mental health and trauma-focused specialty clinics. She has provided medical education related to psychological and behavioral change principles to resident physicians in Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, and Podiatry. Dr. Johnson is an ardent believer in addressing whole-person health promotion with behavioral modifications, cognitive reframing, physical reconditioning, and spiritual coping.
