Dr. Varghese is a physician at the Victory Lakes Town Center Clinic in League City. Dr. Varghese completed his medical residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas, where he served as Chief Resident. While clinically trained in a broad scope of medicine, his expertise includes adult and children's health, minor procedures, and preventative care.

As a physician, my patient care practices are centered around three core beliefs. First, I believe that patient autonomy should be respected. Both patient's beliefs and evidence-based medicine should be incorporated into workup and treatment plans as every patient is different. Secondly, I believe that teamwork is essential to provide the best possible care. I aim to use the knowledge and expertise of other health professionals to do so. Lastly, I believe in the importance of preventative care, which we achieve through education, screening, and counseling.

Ultimately, Dr. Varghese's goal is to address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of health. Dr. Varghese wants to partner with his patients to empower them to restore their wellness.

Amber Khan grew up and lived in three different countries and moved a lot in pursuit of improving quality of life and chasing her aspirations. From getting her bachelor's in North Carolina, going to PA school in Virginia, she fell in love with Texas and moved here.

She continuously enjoys family practice and has been practicing since 2012. She likes getting to know her patients and their loved ones, and building long lasting relationships. She has a lot of exposure to preventative care and emphasizes that to her patients the most.

Dr. Azhar joined UTMB's Department of Family Medicine in 1993. He attended medical school at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. Dr. Azhar completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at the Royal College of Surgeons in England then completed a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmogy at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Dr. Azhar advanced his career by receiving additional residency training at UTMB in the Department of Family Medicine.  In addition to his doctorate degree, he earned an MBA from the University of Houston, Clear Lake.

Dr. Azhar is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Azhar's interests are in family medicine, ophthalmology and residency training.

Melanie Gray was born in Houston, TX and raised in the once small town of Pearland, TX. She initially received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from UTMB in 2004, graduating with honors. After working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Texas Children's Hospital and in the Day Surgery Unit at University General Hospital, she pursued her master's degree at UTMB. With two young girls, one on the way, and the help of her husband, she received her Master's of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015.

With a passion for primary care, she accepted a position at Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group in 2016. At TGCMG, she grew as a nurse practitioner and served as a preceptor. Recently, she joined the Primary and Specialty Care Clinic at UTMB.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She can usually be found hustling kids to different activities or enjoying time outdoors.

Born in California, Dr. Abrahim got to Texas as fast as she could and considers herself a native Texan and true Aggie, as she attended Texas A&M University for both her undergraduate degree and medical school. She completed her Family Medicine residency at UTMB Health and is excited to be on the mainland giving back to the community in which she was raised. She aims to help her patients reach their health goals by providing comprehensive, up-to-date, evidence-based care. In her free time she enjoys exercising, watching movies, learning to cook new meals and traveling with my husband and family.

Rosana Draper, PhD, MSN, FNP-BC is a graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, where she obtained her MSN as well as her PhD. Rosana specializes as an experienced board certified nurse practitioner. Her clinical interests include family medicine, healthy lifestyles and diabetes care.

Dr. Campbell comes to UTMB Health from the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, where he most recently served as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Chief Academic Officer, and Associate Professor of Family Medicine. He also served as their Associate Dean for DEI and Director of their Research Group for Underrepresented Minorities in Academic Medicine. Prior to his tenure at East Carolina University, Dr. Campbell served on the faculties at Florida State University College of Medicine and the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Campbell earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. He completed a residency with the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Tallahassee, FL.

Dr. Campbell currently holds the Sealy Hutchings and Lucille Wright Hutchings Chair in Family Medicine.

Dr. Kalia was born and raised in Texas, is a Texas A&M University Alumni, and is here to serve her community. She likes to come up with individualized realistic health plans and medical treatments with her patients. She truly enjoys the variety of medical conditions she gets to treat as a primary care physician, as well as the bonds she creates with her patients. Currently, she is an assistant clinical professor for UTMB who enjoys teaching also.

Medicine is her hobby. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes laughing at her husband's dad jokes and son's humor, cooking, audio-books, movies, volunteering, and research. Her grandmother, parents, and siblings all reside in League City.

Christine Kley is a board-certified family medicine physician. Areas of clinical interest include preventative medicine, women’s health, and travel medicine. She enjoys teaching and received the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Teaching award in residency training. Outside of clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Houston restaurant scene, and crafting.
