About Me
Dr. Paul currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. He also holds several leadership roles, including Medical Director of the Radiation Oncology Department in Galveston, Associate Program Director for the residency program, and Director of Outreach. He earned his medical and doctorate degree from Rosalind Franklin University and completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, and the Karmanos Cancer Institute. From 2017 to 2023, Dr. Paul served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During this time, he also led the Radiation Oncology department at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, first as the lead physician and later as director. He then joined the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle as an Assistant Professor and lead physician for the Radiation Oncology department at the Seattle VA Medical Center. He hopes to continue building oncology programs and initiate research projects with collaborations from UTMB-Galveston National Laboratories and UTMB-NASA space biology programs.
