Dr. Cindy Chan has been with the University of Texas Medical Branch since 2004, including during her Medical School training and Internal Medicine Residency training. After graduation, she served as a Chief Resident until June 2012, where she then became an assistant professor. She continues to work closely with the Internal Medicine Residency program as one of the Associate Program Directors. She is also the Medical Director of the Internal Medicine Daniels' residency clinic, where most of the residents perform their continuity clinic. In addition to Resident supervision, Dr. Chan also has limited clinics on Galveston Island, at the Primary Care Pavilion. Dr. Chan's interests include quality outpatient care education, patient centered medical homes, and care of chronic medical conditions.
