Jourdan Pea, RN, BSN, CCRN, PNP

I am an Alabama native, born and raised in Huntsville. After obtaining my nursing degree from UAB in Birmingham, I began my career at UAB Hospital in an intense adult, pediatric and neonatal CVICU program. Years later, in search of new opportunities, I randomly took a travel nurse job to Galveston, TX where I joined the Pediatric ICU team at UTMB. Working with pediatric patients and their families during their most vulnerable moments developed my passion for pediatrics and ignited a desire to contribute more as a clinician. I have recently graduated as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and I am excited to continue my career journey as part of Pediatric Surgery team at UTMB!
