Dr. Yang joined UTMB in 2019 and he is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in Pediatric Urgent Care. Dr. Yang completed his M.D. and pediatric surgery fellowship in 1997 through the Combined Program, and subsequently completed his PhD training in Molecular Oncology in 2001 from China Medical University.
Dr. Yang worked in UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston Texas from 2001 to 2010. Dr. Yang completed pediatric residency in New York Medical College (Richmond) Pediatric Residency Program from 2010 to 2013, where he served as the Chief Resident in the last year of residency. Dr. Yang worked as a pediatric Board-certified physician at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa Texas from 2014 to 2019 and at Texas Children's Hospital Pediatric Urgent Care from 2017-2019.
