About Me

Noah Winson Martinez, MSN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who provides primary care for adults ages 18 and older. He believes the strongest patient-provider relationships are built on collaboration, empathy and trust. By listening closely and taking time to understand each patient’s experiences, priorities and concerns, Martinez works with patients to develop care plans that support their individual health goals.

Martinez takes a holistic approach to care, recognizing that a person’s health can be influenced by their lifestyle, culture, experiences and personal preferences. He encourages patients to take an active role in their care and ensures they understand their options so they can make informed decisions about their health. Patients value his integrity, dedication and genuine willingness to listen.

Martinez earned both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) School of Nursing in Galveston. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, he spent more than four years caring for patients with a wide range of medical needs as a nurse clinician at UTMB Health’s Jennie Sealy Hospital. He later practiced as a nurse practitioner in an internal medicine primary care clinic. He is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

Martinez is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Texas Nurses Association.

A Texas City resident, Martinez enjoys spending time with his fiancé, family, friends and three pets. His favorite activities include traveling, gardening, running, solving puzzles, playing board games and pool, visiting Topgolf, and trying new foods and restaurants.

Patient Reviews

Why do some clinicians have no ratings?
At UTMB, a clinician's ratings are only posted when she/he has a minimum of 30 completed surveys within the past twelve months. New-to-UTMB clinicians or individuals in less common areas of practice may be temporarily under this threshold. We set this baseline to ensure we offer the most accurate reflection of each Individual.
