About Me

Brooke Stanton, APRN, FNP-C, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan—from school-aged children to older adults. She is deeply committed to building long-term relationships with her patients and supporting their health through every stage of life, with a strong emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness.

Brooke earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, before advancing her training at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) School of Nursing in Galveston, where she specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Before transitioning into her advanced practice role, Brooke spent more than five years as an emergency department nurse, including four and a half years at UTMB’s League City Campus. This experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment strengthened her clinical judgment, sharpened her ability to quickly assess and prioritize patient needs, and equipped her to manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Today, she brings that same level of attentiveness and efficiency to primary care, bridging immediate health concerns with long-term wellness planning.

Brooke’s practice style is rooted in a holistic and collaborative approach. She prioritizes listening closely to her patients, fostering open communication, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their care. She is known for creating a supportive, respectful environment where patients feel heard, valued, and engaged in shared decision-making. Her focus on education and continuity of care helps patients feel confident navigating both everyday health needs and more complex medical conditions.

Her commitment to nursing excellence has been recognized through several honors, including the 2026 Leadership Graduate Student Award from the Eleanor Brasher Farley & Stephanie Faley Pardue Memorial for Nursing at UTMB, as well as the 2024 Excellence in Nursing Award from The Good Samaritan Foundation.

Originally from the south Houston area, Brooke lives in a rural community with her husband, who also attended Texas A&M University. Together, they enjoy attending Aggie football and baseball games. Outside of her professional life, she has a passion for gardening, creating floral arrangements, and spending time outdoors.

Driven by a genuine desire to support her patients’ well-being, Brooke is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes both immediate health and long-term vitality.

Patient Reviews

Why do some clinicians have no ratings?
At UTMB, a clinician's ratings are only posted when she/he has a minimum of 30 completed surveys within the past twelve months. New-to-UTMB clinicians or individuals in less common areas of practice may be temporarily under this threshold. We set this baseline to ensure we offer the most accurate reflection of each Individual.
