About Me
Adel Nasser is a certified physician assistant who joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UTMB in October 2022. A proud graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch, he earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2017.
Before returning to UTMB, Mr. Nasser served patients at the VA in community-based outpatient family medicine clinics, providing comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population. He also brings five years of hands-on experience in urgent care in Waco, where he managed a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
With a strong foundation in primary and urgent care, Mr. Nasser brings a well-rounded approach to the GI specialty, emphasizing patient education, continuity of care, and a collaborative care model.
