Dr. Noor Laylani, MD, a comprehensive Ophthalmologist with a specialization in Neuro-ophthalmologist, she serves as an Assistant Professor at the UTMB department of Ophthalmology and visual science. She received her Neuro-ophthalmology training (fellowship) at Houston Methodist Hospital (HMH), in addition to practicing comprehensive ophthalmology. Dr. Laylani has dedicated her career to providing high quality, patient-centered and compassionate medical care, taking time to guide patients through the complexity of their diagnoses and developing personalized treatment and follow-up plans.

Dr. Laylani has been actively conducting research and publishing articles aimed at advancing the care and treatment of patients with different neuro-ophthalmic diseases with more than 50 publications in different journals and she also has been actively involved in mentoring medical students and ophthalmology residents.
