Sura Alqaisi, MD

Her clinical practice spans the full range of General Endocrinology, with focused interests in neuroendocrine tumors, osteoporosis and calcium disorders, obesity medicine, complex diabetes management, and reproductive endocrinology across the female lifespan. She emphasizes clear communication, evidence-based practice, and personalized support for individuals navigating complex endocrine conditions. Throughout her career, Dr. Alqaisi has been actively involved in scholarly activity, including multiple research projects published in national journals, and quality-improvement initiatives aimed at advancing endocrine care and improving patient outcomes. She is equally dedicated to medical education and mentorship and looks forward to contributing to UTMB’s academic and clinical mission through compassionate care, scholarly engagement, and trainee development.
