Although our hands are used for complex tasks, they’re often taken for granted. About Me
Dr. Wassef obtained her undergraduate degree from Rice University before attending medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. After graduating medical school, she completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She then completed her fellowship (hand and upper extremity) at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
