Dr. Karing is a native Texan, growing up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area before moving to Arkansas to obtain her undergraduate degree. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in biology in 2015. She went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2019 and completed her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2023.

She is very excited to be re-joining the University of Texas Medical Branch community and currently practicing at the Clear Lake location. She is committed to addressing all aspects of women's health with special interests in adolescent health, family planning, gynecologic surgery and high risk obstetrics.

Outside of work, Dr. Karing enjoys trying new restaurants, running, hiking, traveling, going to concerts, or reading a good book. She is the proud parent of one fur baby.

Dr. Adum grew up in Nigeria, West Africa, where she attended medical school. After completing her medical education, she moved to England in 2003 for postgraduate studies in medicine and specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She moved to the United States in 2009 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2013 at St Peters/Drexel University Hospital in New Jersey. After residency she moved to Williston, North Dakota, where she practiced for over 5 years providing obstetrics and gynecology services to the women in this underserved area.

Being a new mother with a strong desire to be closer to her family during the formative years of her daughter, she moved to Texas.

Dr. Adum is excited about joining the Angleton Women Healthcare team as she finds this a continuation of her catering to the needs of a community that provides her great opportunities to impact positively in the lives of women and their families. She truly enjoys all aspects of her profession and appreciates the trust that is given to her by her patients to take care their health concerns; be it a well women visit, caring for low or high pregnancies and delivering babies or providing both non-surgical or surgical procedures for gynecological problems or just lending an empathic ear to her patients at those times it is so much needed in this profession. The diverse and challenging profession keeps her driven, grounded and committed to providing the best care possible.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, eating good food (a foodie), reading, watching great plays/shows, hiking and traveling.

Dr. Gabriela Halder is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Halder obtained her bachelor’s degree and Master of Public Health from the University of Miami. She then completed residency at the University of South Florida and fellowship at the University of Texas Austin.

Dr. Halder specializes in female pelvic floor disorders including conservative and surgical approaches to pelvic organ prolapse, urinary/fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, urethral masses, voiding dysfunction/neurogenic bladder, mesh complications, and painful bladder syndrome. She is skilled in minimally invasive procedures and robotic-assisted surgery.

Dr. Halder’s primary research interests surround patient reported outcomes, perioperative education, and health economics. She has published several articles, book chapters, and presented her work at numerous national meetings. She is an active member of several national and international organizations including the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Urogynecological Association.

During her spare time, Dr. Halder enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the greater Houston area.

Selina Tristan APRN, FNP-C is a graduate of Texas A & M Corpus Christi. She has advanced training from the TAMUCC Nurse Practitioner program and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also certified with the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation as a Certified Breast Care Nurse. Her clinical interests include women’s health.

Debra Sharp, MSN, CNM is a graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch, where she obtained her MSN. Ruth specializes as an experienced certified nurse midwife. Her clinical interests include Midwifery.

Dr. Fulcher is Chief of the Section of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTMB Galveston Main Campus. He holds a bachelor's degree from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas, and received his medical degree and residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He is board certified in obstetrics & gynecology. As a result of his interest and experience in contraception management, he has served on the Family Planning Advisory Committee for the State of Texas Board of Health, and as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Health Family Planning Services. He has provided the latest in contraception options to his patients. He has provided expert care in general obstetrics and gynecologic surgery for over 35 years. His special interest is in minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedures.

Dr. Fulcher is married with three children and two grandchildren, and lives in Dickinson.
