Dr. Gerik is Director of the Division of General Inpatient Services and the Division of Chronic Care and Special Services. She is a Professor of Pediatrics and Family Medicine. She received her B.A. in Biology from the University of Texas and her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she also completed her residency.
