Irma Martinez, MA, LPC-S

Irma Martinez, MA, LPC-S is a Mental Health Clinician in the Division of Pediatrics-Psychology and Pediatrics Specialist in the Department of Pediatrics. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University in Waco, TX and received her Master of Arts in Education: Counseling from University of Redlands in Redlands, California.

Ms. Martinez specializes in providing counseling services to children and adolescents, and their families, in various areas of mental health needs.

Before joining UTMB in 2014, Ms. Martinez was a College Counselor and a Therapist. She also has 8 years of experience with Early Childhood Intervention (ECI).

Ms. Martinez is licensed through the Texas State Board of Professional Counselors as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Supervisor.
