About Me
Dr. Sonstein is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Urology. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Psychology. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and stayed on at UTMB for residency training in Urology. His current areas of research include prostate cancer screening, urethral stricture disease, and comparing outcomes of robotic versus open surgery. His areas of clinical interest include robotic surgery, reconstructive urology, as well as general urology.
