About Me
Dr. Vijaya Murthy is a graduate of JSS Medical College, Mysore, India. She has advanced training from the UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch). Her clinical interests in rheumatology include myositis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), systemic autoimmune rheumatic disease–associated interstitial lung disease (SARD-ILD), vasculitis, and a broad range of rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and lupus. Dr. Murthy also enjoys teaching and mentorship and hopes to inspire others to join the growing field of rheumatology.
