About Me
Dr. Aisha Shenawi Jamal is a compassionate and detail-oriented pediatrician who brings over a decade of experience caring for children and adolescents. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Jamal treats patients from newborns to young adults up to age 21, with a special clinical focus on chronic illnesses and behavioral health. Dr. Jamal earned her undergraduate degree from Houston Christian University in Houston, Texas, and completed her medical education at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. She went on to complete both her internship and residency in pediatrics at UTMB Galveston in Galveston, Texas.
From 2014 to 2022, Dr. Jamal served families at the Pediatric Adolescent Center of Grand Prairie and Arlington. Since 2022, she has been practicing at Pediatric Associates of Frisco, where she continues to build strong relationships with her patients and their families.
Known for her patient-first approach, Dr. Jamal prioritizes listening to her young patients before turning to their parents, helping children build confidence and take ownership of their health from an early age. Her gentle demeanor and respect for each child’s comfort—especially during exams—have earned her the trust of families, including those with children on the autism spectrum who specifically request her care. Dr. Jamal is fluent in Burmese and lives in Missouri City with her husband and their young son. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, traveling, volunteering, and learning Spanish alongside her son. Her patients value her for being fast yet thorough, and for her commitment to education and holistic care. Rather than relying solely on medications, Dr. Jamal emphasizes preventive strategies, home remedies, and lifestyle changes to support long-term wellness.
