Nadia Ahmed, MD

Dr. Nadia Ahmed is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), where she also serves as an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Ahmed has an extensive background in medical education, co-directing the META entry course for first-year medical students and delivering lectures on evidence-based approaches to dietary modifications. She has contributed to numerous research projects, including improving post-hospital follow-up rates for underinsured patients and increasing colorectal cancer screening rates. As a leader in medical education, Dr. Ahmed has been recognized with several awards, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Commitment to the Art of Medicine Award.
