Navin Oorjitham, MD

I am from Harlingen, Texas. I received my undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. My interests/hobbies are running, working out, playing video games, making music. I choose Psychiatry because I enjoy the work! I like talking to people, hearing their stories and having the opportunity to help them improve their lives. I feel like this is something worth dedicating my life to. When I was rotating with the department in my 3rd year of medical school, I was just so impressed by how supportive the faculty were and how knowledgeable and friendly the residents were. My expectations have been exceeded during my time here, and I am very glad that I decided to come here for my training.
