About Me

Dr. Farhan Ahmad is a board-certified interventional radiologist specializing in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions with less risk, less pain, and shorter recovery times compared to traditional surgery.

He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). He then completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at UTMB, where he served as Chief Resident, demonstrating leadership in both clinical excellence and resident education.

Dr. Ahmad’s clinical interests include:

  • Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD): improving blood flow and reducing symptoms of limb ischemia
  • Musculoskeletal Embolization: treating chronic joint pain and tendon disorders with targeted, non-surgical interventions
  • Interventional Oncology: offering advanced, minimally invasive therapies for cancer care, including tumor embolization and ablation
