About Me

Dr. Brooke Corning is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. Dr. Corning completed her undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of the Dean's Scholars Honors Program, graduating with a bachelor's of science degree in biology, with honors. She subsequently attended the McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas earning an MD in 2013. Dr. Corning completed an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Virginia before joining the faculty at UTMB in 2019.

She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society.
