About Me
Dr. Saleh graduated with honors from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Immediately afterwards he started academic training in Cardiovascular medicine until he joined the same University as a Faculty of Cardiovascular Medicine (after finishing PhD). He relocated to the United States where he completed Internal Medicine residency (where he served as a chief resident as well) at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. He then joined the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) as a cardiology fellow to complete his training in Clinical Cardiology. He was appointed as Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at UTMB immediately after his graduation where he is currently practicing as an Invasive Cardiologist.
His professional interests include clinical cardiology, valvular heart disease, heart failure and cardiac imaging.
Dr. Saleh also is interested in academics where he is involved in clinical education and mentoring of premedical as well as medical students in addition to supervising medical residents and cardiology fellows. Dr. Saleh is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine and cardiovascular computerized tomography.
He currently sees patients at UTMB primary and Specialty Care clinics at Angleton Danbury, Alvin and Lake Jackson.
