About Me
Dr. Jones is an Ocular Disease Optometrist and Assistant Professor with the UTMB Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. She provides patient care at the UTMB Eye Clinic in League City.
Before joining the department in 2023, she completed an ocular disease residency at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates with Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Harford County, Maryland. She graduated, cum laude, from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry, where she was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award for outstanding clinical performance. She is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Jones performs comprehensive and emergency eye exams. She provides surgical co-management for glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive surgery. She also provides management and treatment of ocular diseases.
Dr. Jones was born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In her spare time, she can be found spending time at the beach while enjoying music or cheering on her favorite football team.
