Dr. Raai Mahmood is dedicated to providing compassionate, cutting-edge care for patients facing complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. She specializes in the treatment of systemic diseases such as vasculitis, Lupus and Scleroderma and Rheumatoid arthritis.
With a focus on precision medicine, Dr. Mahmood established the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Clinic at UTMB in 2025. This allows her to use advanced imaging to more accurately diagnose and monitor joint health. Dr. Mahmood is board-certified in both Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of specialized care.
