Lilia Requena, FNP

Lilia Requena, APRN, FNP-C, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care for adults. She is passionate about building strong, respectful relationships with her patients and emphasizes listening and empathy in every interaction. Lilia believes in shared decision-making and works closely with her patients to explore care options and choose the approach that best fits their needs and preferences. Lilia earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and completed her graduate studies at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Before joining UTMB Health, Lilia practiced in a Family Medicine clinic in North Houston, where she cared for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. She also completed precepting rotations in outpatient family medicine and primary care clinics throughout the Houston and League City areas.

Patients appreciate Lilia’s warm and approachable style, as well as her commitment to creating a comfortable and respectful environment during visits.

Lilia lives in League City, Texas, with her fiancé and their two dogs, Mochi and Hero. In her free time, she enjoys indoor cycling and staying active.
