About Me
Dr. Ducker’s primary interest is improving and preserving vision for his patients. He is passionate about educating and empowering patients to understand the barriers to reaching their visual needs and how to surpass them.
His 10 years of medical education began at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating he completed a medicine internship at the Cleveland Clinic, the World’s Number 2 Ranked Hospital.
He completed his ophthalmology surgical residency training in his hometown at the University of Minnesota.
He completed an additional dedicated year of training in glaucoma management and surgery including tube Shunts, MIGS, Trabeculectomy, and angle-based laser treatments at the University of Missouri.
Finally, to be able to provide complete care for patients’ visual needs, he completed an additional year of training focusing on Corneal transplant, keratoconus, ocular surface cancers, limbal stem cell deficiency, LASIK and PRK.
Dr. Ducker is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He stays current with the latest treatments and technology through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues and friends nationwide. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with this family, encouraging his young daughter to explore the world with curiosity and joy.
