About Me

Dr. Muhammad Musab Shamim has been appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, specializing in retina and vitreoretinal surgery. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed advanced fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago.

Dr. Shamim is dedicated to patient care and advancing the field of retina. He is also deeply committed to service and global outreach, having participated in medical mission trips to Pakistan and Honduras. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and traveling.
